Win Free Camping

We are giving away some free camping at McGrath State Beach, to help celebrate the Grand Reopening of the park!  But you have to visit and Like our Facebook page, and try your hand at one of our quizzes!

Contest rules:

1. You can only win a free campsite once. This includes Ranger Jelly’s contests. Trust me, we talk!
2. If you win one of our contests (including if you win one of Ranger Jelly’s quiz contests), you can still participate in the fun, but please private message your guesses to us, rather than post them publicly on our wall. That way, if you’re correct, we can let you know, without letting everyone else know, and the quiz can go on.
3. We will periodically respond to guesses and provide clues to keep you on the right track; please check back frequently for updates.
4. It is entirely possible that the question and/or clues might seem to point toward a certain answer. However, if that is not the answer we are looking for, then please accept our apologies for the confusion and keep guessing.
5. Feel free to use whatever tools you have at your disposal: Google is your friend!
6. Once a winner has been announced for a contest, that contest is complete. We will need the winner to send us his/her contact information ASAP via private message, so we can coordinate for the special event in June.
7. The prize is two nights’ camping at McGrath State Beach during our grand-reopening celebration, for the nights of June 29-30. The regular rules for our state parks (# of vehicles onsite, etc.) will still apply, even though camping this weekend is not available to the general public.
