On Saturday, July 27th, we will be hosting our first-ever volunteer service event at El Capitan State Beach!
The event will run from 9:00 am -12:00 pm. We will meet at El Capitan State Beach (map).
Volunteers of all ages are welcome! We are also very happy to welcome groups: families, Scout troops, youth groups, employee groups, etc.
Volunteers will be working to help maintain the Park’s beautiful nature trails.

Beautification Event held at San Buenaventura State Beach to Celebrate
Ventura County Supervisors John Zaragoza and Steve Bennett, Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Friends of Channel Coast State Parks and California State Parks officials held a beautification and maintenance event on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at San Buenaventura State Beach. More than 125 volunteers from all over Ventura County (and beyond) attended the event.
This event, originally scheduled for McGrath State Beach (which is currently closed due to unusually high seasonal flooding), was the second annual volunteer service event conducted jointly by Supervisor Zaragoza, SoCalGas, State Parks, and Friends of Channel Coast State Parks.
